GLC-LH-SMD – Cisco 1000BASE-LX/LH SFP Transceiver Module (DOM, 1310nm, MMF/SMF)

The Cisco GLC-LH-SMD is a Gigabit Ethernet SFP transceiver module designed for both multi-mode (MMF) and single-mode fiber (SMF) networks. Operating at a 1310nm wavelength, it supports transmission distances up to 10 kilometers over SMF and 550 meters over MMF (with mode conditioning patch cable).

This model includes Digital Optical Monitoring (DOM), providing real-time diagnostics such as optical power, temperature, and voltage—making it ideal for high-performance, long-range fiber network deployments.
