The Cisco GLC-SX-MM is a hot-swappable 1000BASE-SX SFP transceiver module designed for short-range fiber optic communication over multimode fiber (MMF). Operating at an 850nm wavelength, it supports transmission distances up to 550 meters, making it ideal for data center, campus, and enterprise network environments.

This compact module uses an LC duplex connector, provides Gigabit Ethernet connectivity, and is compatible with Cisco switches and routers supporting SFP interfaces.

If you need a special warranty period, you can ask your contact person for an extended warranty. Please note that the extended warranty can be extended for a maximum of 3 years and in most cases it incurs an extra cost. It must also be purchased at the same time as the original Purchase Order. In the event a faulty part or a part that stops working within its warranty period, email your contact person and request a RMA (email should include Ameta invoice number, product part number & serial number) and we will process your claim.
