The HPE E7Y23A 3PAR StoreServ 20000 12Gb SAS 12-Disk 2U LFF Drive Enclosure is an enterprise storage expansion enclosure designed for compatible HPE 3PAR StoreServ 20000 Series storage systems. It provides additional disk capacity for large-scale data center environments requiring scalable and highly available storage infrastructure.
Featuring 12 Large Form Factor (LFF) drive bays in a compact 2U rack-mount chassis, the E7Y23A supports compatible 3.5-inch enterprise drives. Its 12Gb SAS architecture provides high-speed connectivity between the drive enclosure and supported 3PAR StoreServ storage infrastructure.
The enclosure is suitable for expanding capacity for virtualization, databases, private cloud, backup, application storage, and enterprise data consolidation. Its modular design allows organizations to add storage capacity to compatible 3PAR StoreServ 20000 systems as requirements grow.
The HPE E7Y23A is a drive expansion enclosure and not a standalone storage controller array. Drives and other configuration-dependent components may not be included, so the exact configuration, supported drive types, cabling, and compatibility with the target 3PAR system should be verified before deployment.

The majority of our equipment comes with 6 months warranty, with the exception of tapes and batteries - which comes wth 1 month waranty. If you need a special warranty period, you can ask your contact person for an extended warranty. Please note that the extended warranty can be extended for a maximum of 3 years and in most cases it incurs an extra cost. It must also be purchased at the same time as the original Purchase Order. In the event a faulty part or a part that stops working within its warranty period, email your contact person and request a RMA (email should include Ameta invoice number, product part number & serial number) and we will process your claim.
