The HPE P50219-B21 / P50956-001 3.84TB NVMe Gen4 High Performance Read Intensive SSD is an enterprise solid-state drive designed for compatible HPE ProLiant and HPE compute platforms. It combines high-capacity flash storage with PCIe Gen4 NVMe performance for demanding data center applications.
Based on the Samsung PM1733a enterprise SSD platform, this drive provides 3.84TB capacity in a 2.5-inch SFF U.3 form factor. Its PCIe Gen4 NVMe interface delivers high-throughput, low-latency storage compared with traditional SAS and SATA devices, making it suitable for performance-sensitive server workloads.
The drive carries HPE's High Performance Read Intensive (RI) workload classification and uses an HPE Basic Carrier (BC). It is well suited for workloads dominated by reads, including virtualization, databases, analytics, content delivery, application hosting, and other enterprise environments requiring fast access to large datasets.
