The HPE Q2F19A 100GbE QSFP28 SR4 100m Transceiver is a high-speed optical networking module designed for compatible HPE enterprise networking and data center equipment. It provides 100 Gigabit Ethernet connectivity over multimode fiber, supporting high-bandwidth network links in demanding enterprise environments.
Featuring a 100Gbps data rate, the HPE Q2F19A uses the QSFP28 form factor and 100GBASE-SR4 optical technology. It operates at a nominal wavelength of 850nm and supports transmission distances of up to 100 meters over OM4 multimode fiber or up to 70 meters over OM3 multimode fiber.
The transceiver uses four parallel optical lanes, each operating at approximately 25Gbps, to deliver an aggregate 100Gbps Ethernet connection. Its MPO/MTP multifiber interface enables high-density optical connectivity for compatible switches and network devices.
The HPE Q2F19A is suitable for data center network expansion, high-speed switch interconnections, server aggregation, virtualization infrastructure, and other bandwidth-intensive applications. It provides a compact optical connectivity solution for organizations upgrading or maintaining enterprise 100GbE networks.
