The HPE Q2R28A B-Series 4 x 32Gb Short Wave QSFP Transceiver 4-Pack is an enterprise optical transceiver package designed for compatible HPE B-Series Fibre Channel networking and storage infrastructure. It provides high-speed optical connectivity for demanding SAN environments requiring reliable 32Gb Fibre Channel connections.

Each QSFP (Quad Small Form-factor Pluggable) transceiver provides 4 x 32Gb Fibre Channel lanes, enabling high-density connectivity between compatible Fibre Channel switches and other supported SAN equipment. The short-wave optical design is intended for multimode fiber connections within data centers and enterprise storage environments.

The Q2R28A package contains four QSFP transceivers, making it suitable for new SAN deployments, infrastructure expansion, replacement of failed optics, or maintaining critical spare inventory. High-density QSFP connectivity can help simplify cabling while supporting the bandwidth requirements of modern Fibre Channel storage networks.

Please note that the extended warranty can be extended for a maximum of 3 years and in most cases it incurs an extra cost. It must also be purchased at the same time as the original Purchase Order. In the event a faulty part or a part that stops working within its warranty period, email your contact person and request a RMA (email should include Ameta invoice number, product part number & serial number) and we will process your claim.
