The IBM 00RX892 / Feature Code 5899 1Gb 4-Port PCIe2 Ethernet-TX Adapter is an enterprise network interface card designed to provide multiple Gigabit Ethernet connections for compatible IBM server environments. Featuring four Ethernet ports on a single adapter, it is suitable for systems requiring additional network connectivity, redundancy, or separation of network traffic.

The adapter uses a PCI Express 2.0 x4 interface and provides four 1Gb Ethernet-TX ports for connection to compatible copper Ethernet networks. Its multi-port architecture is well suited for server management, application traffic, virtualization, network redundancy, and other enterprise networking requirements.
