The Lenovo 7XH7A05896 / 01GV280 ThinkSystem 2.5-inch SATA/SAS 8-Bay Backplane Kit is a server storage expansion and replacement component designed for compatible Lenovo ThinkSystem SR530 and SR630 rack servers. It provides the physical drive connectivity required for supported 2.5-inch SATA and SAS storage configurations.

Featuring support for 8 x 2.5-inch Small Form Factor (SFF) drive bays, this backplane enables compatible SATA and SAS HDDs and SSDs to connect to the server's storage controller.
