The Cisco Nexus N5K-C5548P-FA is a Layer 2/3 10-Gigabit Ethernet switch designed for top-of-rack (ToR) or end-of-row deployments in enterprise and cloud-scale data centers. It offers 32 fixed 10GE SFP+ ports, and supports up to 48 10GE ports through expansion modules (sold separately). The “FA” model features front-to-back airflow, making it ideal for hot-aisle/cold-aisle cooling environments.

This chassis comes equipped with 2 hot-swappable power supplies and 2 fan modules, delivering high availability and energy-efficient cooling. Designed to operate seamlessly with Cisco’s Fabric Extenders (FEX) and the NX-OS platform, the Nexus 5548P simplifies network management and delivers ultra-low latency switching for demanding applications like virtualization, storage, and HPC.

Please note that the extended warranty can be extended for a maximum of 3 years and in most cases it incurs an extra cost. It must also be purchased at the same time as the original Purchase Order. In the event a faulty part or a part that stops working within its warranty period, email your contact person and request a RMA (email should include Ameta invoice number, product part number & serial number) and we will process your claim.
